I'm Katrina Florence, I'm a big fan of alliteration and suddenly Florence Family Photography was born!
I started out my photography journey in a studio and fell in love with Newborn photography, after having my two messy, mud loving, crazy kids, I decided to start my own business and ta da! Here we are 8 years later, I have built my business up slowly while they have been small and still needed me lots, now they are both school age; my business can start becoming more centre stage and I am loving it!

I specialise in Newborns and Family photo shoots but also love capturing your growing baby bumps and your special milestones!
I work in the comfort of your own home, bringing everything with me! Yes I do look like I'm moving in when I turn up but I promise I'm not! I capture you and your little ones surrounded by their natural habitat! Nothing works better than your child being comfortable and settled in their surroundings.
I will always aim to capture moments over poses, so often I will direct you into a certain pose or way of standing and then I will allow you to create the magic by encouraging you to look at each other, have a cuddle, chat, make each other laugh; I find these are the photos we love the most as they really evoke a tangible memory of what we were thinking and feeling in that moment. I aim for you to have a relaxed and calm experience and being a mum myself I have seen all behaviors so please never worry about your little one 'behaving' on the day ; children have a way of bringing their own joyful chaos and capturing that chaos usually leads to magic!
I love everything Newborn, Baby and Family but if you have an idea for a photo shoot and like my style of work then please also get in touch! I am always up for new adventures too!
